I love visiting clinics & supporting the hard-working therapeutic teams with the most up-to-date information about topics in psychology that interest them.
The focus of my doctoral research was recurrent major depressive episodes, and I stay current on the latest research about affective disorders, suicide prevention, and using yoga and mindfulness in the treatment of mood and anxiety disorders.
I have prepared specialized presentations on the treatment of depression, the impact of cannabis use on the adolescent brain, and worked with therapists who would like to bring spirituality into their sessions. I would be happy to talk to you about how I could be of service to you, your organization, and (by extension) the people you serve.
Being Part of A Treatment Team/Adjunct Services
If you would like to support your patients in integrating movement, lifestyle changes, stress reduction, and/or connection with community into their healing journeys, I happily take referrals for both individual yoga therapy sessions and specialized group class series.
I am always looking to meet physical & mental health care providers who are accepting new patients. Let's connect, especially if you live in the Santa Cruz/San Francisco Bay Area.
