Care for your connection to each other
Relationships are often tested during life's hardest seasons A death in the family, illness, caregiving responsibilities, changes in identity, or unresolved conflict can leave people feeling disconnected from one another even when they care deeply.
My approach focuses less on assigning blame and more on increasing understanding.
Together, we slow the conversation down enough to notice what is happening beneath recurring arguments, misunderstandings, and patterns of disconnection. We pay attention to the ways family members protect themselves, the assumptions they make about one another, and the needs that may be difficult to express directly.
The goal is not to create a perfect relationship. It is to help people remain connected to themselves and one another while facing the realities of life together. Many families discover that when they feel heard, understood, and less alone, new possibilities begin to emerge naturally.
My work with families is limited to members over the age of 18, I specialize in supporting adult children, siblings, and/or parents work through relational patterns they would like to change as they move into maturity.

Scheduling a Couples or Family Session
In couples and family therapy, the treatment unit is the relationship itself, not any one individual. That means all members attend together, and the work is oriented toward what is happening between people, not just within them.
The first session is 90 minutes long, and sessions after that are 75 minutes.
Appointments are held via HIPAA-compliant Zoom, you will receive a link with your confirmation. In order to provide telehealth, each participant must be located in California at the time of our appointment.
When you book for the first time, please have the following on hand:
- Full name, email, and phone number for each participant
- Emergency or safety contact name and phone number of someone who won't be attending the session
- Your address in California
