Compassionate support when life gets rough

I work with people who find themselves in the disorienting places, when life no longer resembles the one they had planned. When your  usual ways of coping, explaining, striving, or holding everything together have begun to wear thin, you don’t have to earn the right to get caring and compassionate support.

You might find yourself in a hard season as a result of grief, illness, separation, burnout, betrayal, spiritual upheaval, or a life transition that has rearranged everything.  Big challenges might  also arrive more quietly, as the recognition that an old way of coping, pleasing, striving, disappearing, or holding everything together no longer works.

Therapy with me begins by slowing down enough to listen for what is actually happening. We look at the stories you carry, the patterns that repeat in relationships, and the ways your body and nervous system have learned to protect you.

We also pay attention to what happens between us in the room, using the therapy relationship as a kind of living laboratory for the patterns that shape your life elsewhere.

The goal is not to force healing, erase pain, or make you into someone else. It is to help you meet what is true with more steadiness, compassion, flexibility, and choice.

Scheduling an Individual Session

The first session is 90 minutes long, and sessions after that are 50 minutes.

Appointments are held via HIPAA-compliant Zoom, you will receive a link with your confirmation. In order to provide telehealth, you must be located in California at the time of our appointment.

When you book for the first time, please have the name and phone number of an emergency or safety contact.

I support people who need support adjusting to loss, major life transitions, and managing chronic stress. I do not provide crisis intervention or acute mental health treatment for severe mental illness that requires a higher level of care. When you make an appointment, I will ask you to confirm that you are not currently in crisis.

Fees & Policies

First session: $150 (90 minutes)
Ongoing sessions: $110 (50 minutes)
- Payment is made at the time of booking.
- Your confirmation email will include a link to reschedule up to 24 hours before our appointment.
- If you need to reschedule fewer than 24 hours before a scheduled session, you will be charged the full session fee.
- I do not accept insurance, but can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement upon request.
