I recorded this mediation for the participants in my Yoga for Stress and Mood Management workshop series, and I wanted to share it with you. You should set aside about 15 minutes, and practice in a place where you are free from distractions.
Just like we work to the best of our ability in our postural practice to get stronger over time, the development of lovingkindness (metta) can also take time. Be patient with yourself, and know that the cultivation of compassion is a journey that has no end point.
